I first discovered mountain biking in my early high school years, drawn to the thrill of rugged trails and steep climbs. As my training progressed, it naturally led me to the open roads on my road bike, where I uncovered breathtaking landscapes across Turkey. Riding along mountain peaks, with the wind rushing past, is an experience that makes you feel profoundly alive.
When I was 10, I boarded an airplane for the first time and, with childlike curiosity, asked the crew if I could see the cockpit. To my amazement, I soon found myself inside, gazing at the world from above through the pilots’ windows. That moment ignited a passion for aviation -one that grew beyond plane spotting into learning how to truly fly. I eventually trained on professional flight simulators, the very same type used to prepare trainee pilots, where I learned to operate aircraft such as the Boeing 737 and 777 in a professional simulation environment.
I’m a big fan of Battlestar Galactica, actually, it’s my favorite show. If you haven’t watched it yet, you definitely should!
